IGENFUN vs WaifuChat: Resolve the Billing Model Before Buying

Compare IGENFUN's conflicting top-up and recurring-credit descriptions with WaifuChat's Apple Pro entries, using the actual renewal terms and generation units.

Two IGENFUN offers cannot be silently combined

The IGENFUN homepage advertises one-time top-ups and no subscription. Its Starter card lists $10 for 50 photos and ten videos; Premium lists $19.99 for 400 photos and twenty videos.

However, the site’s linked Payment Rules describe a recurring subscription in euros, renewing on a 30-day cycle. The publicly served legal page defines Starter as €10 for 100 credits and Premium as €19.99 for 400 credits.

This is a purchase-relevant conflict, not a cosmetic difference in plan names. We read the current publicly served legal text without opening a checkout or making a payment. Neither description should be presented as a verified offer for every account.

Question Homepage statement Linked Payment Rules
Purchase structure One-time top-up, no subscription Automatically renewing 30-day subscription
Currency Dollar prices Euro prices
Starter quantity 50 photos and ten videos displayed 100 shared credits
Premium quantity 400 photos and twenty videos displayed 400 shared credits
Exit Nothing to cancel, according to FAQ Cancellation stops future renewals

Do not make a purchase expecting the left column while accepting conditions in the right column. Check the actual transaction’s currency, renewal authorization and generation allowance; if the provider cannot reconcile them, do not use the rate card as a reliable fixed-project quote.

Under the Payment Rules, photos and videos share one pool

The linked rules assign three credits per photo and ten per video. They explain that photo-only and video-only capacities are alternatives, and that unused credits carry over rather than reset on renewal.

For sixty photo generations and twelve videos, the calculation under this specific model is:

  • Photos: 60 × 3 = 180 credits.
  • Videos: 12 × 10 = 120 credits.
  • Combined requirement: 300 credits.

That fits within the Payment Rules’ stated 400-credit Premium cycle and exceeds its 100-credit Starter cycle. It does not validate the homepage’s separate output quantities, prove a current checkout price, or guarantee sixty usable photos. Rework consumes capacity too, and failed-generation treatment is not established here.

The Payment Rules also say cancellation stops future charges while remaining credits stay available. That is a different commitment from a purchase with no recurring authorization in the first place. Refunds are separately qualified; unused balance is not described as automatically refundable.

WaifuChat presents a recognizable subscription route

WaifuChat’s US Apple listing, identifying Disco Labs LLC, includes $14.99 weekly and $29.99 monthly Pro purchase entries. At those listed figures, three weekly periods total $44.97. A monthly period is a different commitment from one week.

These are store entries, not a universal checkout offer. The available purchase, region and biller determine the actual subscription. Pro’s description explicitly includes unlimited images, messages and waifus; it does not assign that same unlimited allowance to videos. A twelve-video project cannot be priced from the word Pro alone.

This makes WaifuChat’s published purchase structure clearer, while leaving a specific media allowance to confirm. It does not make every generated result usable or establish a cost-per-successful-image winner.

A private feed is also a policy question

IGENFUN serves more than one legal presentation. Its shorter privacy version describes removing generation outputs and personal identifiers within 30 days. The linked full Privacy Policy permits account-data retention for up to twelve months after deletion and gives other records separate periods. These are not identically defined data categories, so the two periods should not be treated as competing deadlines for the same record. Equally, the shorter statement should not be extended into a promise that every account, billing or moderation record disappears within 30 days.

For a bounded image project, first establish the actual billing model and an acceptable policy version. For a recurring anime collection, inspect WaifuChat’s applicable Pro offer and included media. Useful budgeting begins with the agreement actually attached to the purchase; a precise calculation under the wrong agreement remains the wrong budget.
