An attractive picture is not a finished poster
Suppose a fictional community arts evening needs a poster. The visual idea is an original adult ceramicist beside a table of blue-glazed bowls. The final deliverable also needs a date, location, readable title and an export suitable for sharing.
Those practical requirements distinguish IGENFUN from Canva more clearly than a vague “image quality” contest.
IGENFUN presents preset-led photos, animation and editing. Canva’s AI image generator page places generation alongside design tools, image editing, text and sharing/export functions. These public workflows address different portions of the job.
Work backward from the reading order
For the poster, the reader should notice the event name, understand what it is, then find the date and location. A dramatic image that hides the title area can fail that sequence.
Draft the information hierarchy before selecting the image:
| Poster element | What it must do |
|---|---|
| Event name | Be readable at the intended viewing size |
| Illustration | Suggest the subject without competing with the title |
| Date and location | Remain clear after the image is resized |
| Supporting details | Stay secondary, rather than becoming a wall of small text |
This hierarchy is editorial planning. It does not require an AI to generate words inside the image, where accuracy and editability may be harder to manage.
The difference between generating and assembling
IGENFUN’s preset-first proposition can be relevant if you need a starting visual concept. It does not, from the material reviewed here, establish a complete page-layout workflow with editable text and document exports.
Canva’s current page documents adding text to an image, editing with a short written prompt, adjusting a photo and exporting designs in formats including JPG, PNG and PDF. Those are concrete reasons to inspect it for an assembled poster rather than only a standalone picture.
The same page gives the transition explicitly: after choosing an image variation, use Open in editor for text, layers and effects. Keep the event title, date and venue as separate editable text rather than embed them in the generated ceramicist portrait. If the date changes, edit that text and export again; the underlying portrait can stay. Choose PNG or JPG for a raster sharing asset, or PDF when the recipient needs the page as a document. This does not establish a particular printer’s bleed or color requirements.
A reader could generate or obtain an authorized asset elsewhere and assemble it in a design tool. That is a possible workflow, not a verified IGENFUN export/import integration. Do not assume compatible dimensions, resolution or transfer permissions without the relevant evidence.
Revise the right layer
If the date changes, edit the text layer rather than generating the whole portrait again. If the image is too busy, simplify the composition or adjust the asset. If the event name is still difficult to read, more decorative imagery may make the problem worse.
The important distinction is between a defect in the asset and a defect in the page. A new image does not automatically solve poor spacing or hierarchy.
Rights remain a separate requirement
IGENFUN’s linked full terms say the operator claims no ownership of generated content, while prohibiting certain inputs including protected characters and identifiable real people. That is not a certification that every output is cleared for publication. Its Payment Rules also describe recurring credit subscriptions, contradicting the homepage’s one-time-top-up message. Resolve the actual purchase terms before budgeting an asset there.
Canva’s cited page expressly permits personal and commercial projects subject to its AI Product Terms and Terms of Use, while warning that generated images may not be exclusive or cleared of third-party rights. That provides a more explicit published reuse framework for this poster, without replacing the creator’s responsibility for the actual material.
Use original non-explicit fictional-adult concepts and properly licensed material. This comparison does not equate Canva’s content permissions with IGENFUN’s or certify that every model has the same rights.
For a complete poster, start with the design deliverable. For a standalone visual exploration, start with the image concept. Knowing which layer you are working on can save more effort than repeatedly changing tools without changing the brief.
